We are Rochester Institute of Technology's VEX U team (est. 2016). Each year, we compete in a global robotics competition against collegiate teams from across the world. Throughout the year, we continually integrate and improve our robot designs while fostering an open environment that enables individual growth.
Team members are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, learn new skills, and expand on old ones. Our team is committed to using a design process that provides experience through collaboration, education, and leadership opportunities.

We host two VEX Robotics competitions every year at RIT: one middle school and high school competition, and one college level competition. These competitions give schools the opportunity to compete against other teams and try to qualify for either the Regional Championship or the World Championship.
Community Events at RIT
RIT hosts many events throughout the year where student organizations are able to showcase what they do to the RIT and Rochester Communities. We participate annually in RIT's Brick City Weekend and Imagine RIT. At these events, we have a competitive game setup where people are able to drive a robot through a maze and attempt to get a high score. We also attend the RIT Club Fair and new student orientation to recruit new members to our team.
